Well for those that haven’t heard, or looked at our web site lately. A congratulation to Ricky and Christine on the purchase of there NITRO funny car witch they got a few  weeks ago. They did a media release through Dragster with links to our web site where the story and photos are. Since they did this we have had over 290 hits on our web site witch is great for the club getting our name out there.

At the last meeting we had 4 people become members;
Scott Erbacher with his Street HQ
Tim Caswell with his Outlaw Fairlane
Jim Clayton with his Outlaw  Probe
Phil Benger with variety of street cars
So we would like to welcome them to the club.

And on that note ALL MEMBERSHIP FEE ARE DUE  NOW.
Membership fees are $25
Foundation members fees are $12.50

The January meeting was rained out on the Friday so it started early on Saturday morning. We had 6 members racing that weekend but it wasn't a good day for most.
Darren Booth  got another red light 1st round (trying for that .400 light)
Ian Neilson  Bent a valve in qualifying
Bart Bedrossian  ran around 11.6 all day but lost 1st round
Malcolm Brooks  gave his bike a run but he also lost 1st round red light
Tim Caswell  also raced but had a oil leak that wood not go away
Michael Schaper didn't race but he took his new truck up to pick up Darren’s car. He parked it on the grass and went for a  walk when he got back he found the truck bogged to the chassis rails front and rear
it took Blue Star towing near 2 hours to get it out.

All for sale ad’s have been removed, so if you haven’t sold your item and want to rerun the ad let us no. If you have some thing to sell give it to us in writing and we well put it in for you.

Malcolm Brooke has gone to the USA to do his licence and a bit of racing.

All for sale ad’s have been removed, If your item hasn't sold or you would like to put a for sale ad in give it to Mark or Robert in writing so we can ad it to the next newsletter and the web site.

There was a great turn out last meeting with new members joining and talk of more people coming to this next meeting to join as well. This is great for the club but also for everyone in it; if you need help with some thing on your car or even help at the track  Just ask

As we heard at the meeting some of the new cars are getting closer Ian’s Rodeo has been painted and running gear fitted not much more to do before he can race in super street

.Russell’s Corvette has been set up and is now ready to be pulled down to be painted.

I also heard Gary Dean saying  that his dragster is also getting closer.

Peter Merrigan has also been busy getting his motor ready.

Some of these might be on the track by the Tin Tops or the Winternationals.

Looking in some magazines we had pictures of club car’s in them, Dragster had some photos of Robert’s and Darren’s cars from drag fest in it, There was also a write up about Ricky’s 1st race over in Perth.Mark’s car was in Ford performance mag picture also from drag fest. Good to see so much media coming out of a small track.

As you can see there is not a lot in this month newsletter so if you any info, photos let us know.
